    Providing the ability to scale from renaming individual sites, to all sites within a SharePoint tenant, while ensuring a consistent user experience across M365 is a complex problem. We have been working hard on this long-awaited feature and are currently validating this with a subset of customers in a closed (no longer accepting nominations) Private Preview Program. As we consolidate their feedback, we will provide another update in the next few months.

    @Ian Caldwell - probably the best news we've had since February this year :)

    Sure Microsoft can't fix the global pandemic but they "might" be able to finally fix this one haha

    It's worth voting on the below post that covers the complete rename of the tenant name/sub domain name (subdomain.onmicrosoft.com). Also covers SPO and all other services under the suite.

    The most frustrating part of this is Microsoft's response seems to have completely missed the point Dan was making and instead of taking ownership of the actual issue, they've sugar coated a different solution to a different problem (renaming site URLs) instead of addressing the tenant renaming issue.

    I read on a tweet somewhere that this was one of the topics being discussed at Ignite this year (nov 2019). I'll try dig it out, I have been waiting for this for YEARS!

    We're about to enter Q2 for 2019 and still no update on the original MSFT post. I do wonder if this thread is even being monitored by a MSFT representative. Your customers feel like this has been swept under the rug.

    PROVIDE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE and have the decency to respond at least!
