Not intuitive when you are using views for what they are designed for: filtering list data. With a custom filtered view + additional custom formatting JSON applied this link almost never does what it says.

Either remove the link, or better yet give control to redirect the "see more" link to a different view.

We are continuing to make our large list experiences better, please keep the feedback coming.

    Spring 2018 update:
    - We now support being able to manually add indexes to lists of any size (increased from lists up to 20,000 items previously).
    - Starting with the February release of the Office 365 Excel client, you will be able to export your full list instead of getting cut off part of the way through.

What we are working on now:
    - Predictive indexing will start to work for lists larger than 20,000 items so your views will automatically cause the right indexes to be added to your lists.

    In our backlog:
    - Being able to index/sort/filter by lookup column types (like person, lookup or managed metadata columns) without being throttled.
    - Making sure that our REST APIs support querying in ways that will guarantee that the call will not be throttled.

    For…

This is continually the most frustrating thing for our end users regarding SharePoint Online. Our team doesn't have the bandwidth to train on spreading their content across multiple doc libraries - and quite frankly we shouldn't have to. Once a library gets too big we can't make changes to permissions, or even easily delete content.

I love the new UI improvements, but this is a HUGE core usage issue that should have been resolved years ago.

We’ve reduced the height of the hero web part when in full width columns, but still maintain as much of the aspect ratio as possible. On a very large monitor this can still make the hero quite tall. Authors could also drag hero our of the full width column, into a one column layout (with gutters) , which significantly reduces the height. How would you imagine it should work differently in the full width, or is moving to a one column layout the right choice for reduced height? Thanks!

the last ask in 2019 seem to over-complicate this, just make the option to have a half-height hero webpart so that it takes up less vertical space

Our organization would love to see this as an option for modern sites. We're currently using Teams groups as a workaround, and have been hesitant to enable Yammer due to the additional needed administration.

In the past customizable SharePoint discussion board lists checked off everything that we needed. The modern site equivalent just doesn't cut it in its current state.

The ability to back-date articles is crucial for certain types of news posts. Admins can't manually do this using the webpart ordering across every site in the environment.

We know wikis are critical to sharing knowledge within your organization! We’ve been slowly building capabilities to share information more easily with our focus on modern pages and web parts. And with that work, we’ve been adding some of the capabilities we hear you want when people refer to wikis (easily add links to other pages or content, add metadata to each page to help people find and categorize it, roll-up content based on that metadata to show groupings of like content, etc.) But we know this isn’t all that’s required to have a great wiki. Many people also want wiki linking syntax e.g. [[]], we don’t yet support that, but we do support ctrl/command + K from the text web part to search and find pages on your site. We’ll be working on adding wiki syntax shortly. We know you also need easy roll-up pages, maybe an index page,…

currently using modern site w/ custom field for managed metadata tagging, and template pages that guide our authors on all of the custom things that they have to remember to do in order for their page to come out right. Would be much better if this was simplified, related articles easy to tag, managed metadata clickable so that anything tagged comes up in search, etc...

    Also really miss [[]] syntax

Thanks you for the suggestion. We’ve discussed adding additional column layout options (e.g. 4 columns, the specific example provided by the initial suggester 25/50/25, etc.) If we wanted to keep pages consistent (so there aren’t 50 layouts), but allow additional flexibility, what would be the next three layout choices you’d add? Thanks!

I've never understood why the recycle bin isn't just listed under Site Contents instead.

Removing max-width on .CanvasZone appears to fix this.. can this just be added as an option? Have quite a few lists with many columns that are being unnecessarily hidden by a horizontal scroll. This is going on two years old now :/
