   Today you can add metadata to modern pages and news. Also the news web part currently supports filtering news by metadata, as long as the source of the content is the current site.

   We’re working to enable this same filtering across sites right now.

2. Allow existing modern pages to be promoted to the "News", and demoted back from news to page

4. We can Promote but not Demote News. Add ability to Demote News pages.

   This should be available for pages also, not only news. And tag/word cloud to represent results would be great in addition to list web part.
