This feature may not have a lot of votes, but it would be incredibly helpful. Here is a use case. Let's say you have a team managing numerous pages. It would be far easier to maintain the text content in the Library view as custom columns in one place and then push that content to all the pages using the Page Properties web part. It doesn't seem that the web part supports text fields, and even when it does, there is a set character limit on the field. Would be great if the page properties web part was able to render rich text without a character limit.

The highlighted content web part is very useful, but would be nice to have more options for how it renders. For use cases where site pages have metadata fields associated to them, it would be great if you could choose which metadata fields appear in the thumbnail view. For example, most of our target audience doesn't care who last edited the site page or the name of the parent site it sits under, but there is metadata associated as custom columns in the page library that would be great to show in the thumbnail. Some other ideas:

The ability to conditionally format the fill color based on metadata attributes.

Edit the text in the thumbnail

Mouse over text associated to the thumbnail.

Eliminate the sharepoint icon, or the ability to customize this icon

Any update on this request? Ratings are a very useful feature in SharePoint lists when looking to interact with your audience.
